This week, we highlight the case of Mark Redshaw, a former Football Player of the United Kingdom who was sentenced for conspiracy to supply and produce amphetamine, conspiracy to supply cannabis and money laundering.
Redshaw was also a Red Devils youth player and was arrested in March 2023 for his involvement in an amphetamine operation. He was seen with Sam Stone, Deaffern, and Ashley Morris, who were recruited on behalf of Deaffern. In March 2021, Redshaw was involved in the supply of cannabis. A property connected to him in Eccles, Salford, was searched, and GBP 9,380 in cash was recovered. The group, led by Stone and Deaffern, was responsible for the importation of millions of pounds of drugs from mainland Europe. They used accomplices Rowe, Alderson, Ryan, and Main to import the cannabis into the United Kingdom. McCosh, an associate of Main, was connected to the cocaine supply faction of the gang. Mullin was heavily involved in the supply of amphetamine and cannabis. In March 2021, officers recovered 80kg of cannabis bound for Darwen, 10kg in the mill in Darwen, and another package intercepted at East Midlands Airport, resulting in a total of 400kg of cannabis recovered across the entire police operation.
